Windows media center recording problems

I assume that I can burn as the burning option has returned but I will not know this until I can record something with the software. I even tried to change the setting to extend the storage for recorded programs. I hope somebody can help us out. Everything else on my PC seems to be working fine. I even performed partial system recoveries wherein it reloaded all the orginal software that came with my PC and that did not work.

It really should have. I think it must be some kind of setting that we are missing. Well I hope that someone can help us soon as I am to the point where I will have to to a complete system recovery and set up my whole computer from scratch. I have done this before and it is not only very boring but extremely time-consuming.

And it feels ridculous to do that for one single issue on my PC but the Media Center recording option is the only reason why I purchased this computer.

Which drivers are you using for display? Older ones can cause problems. I have to ask. I apologize, but I have not idea how to go about getting that information for you. Could you let me know? Unless I am a complete idiot no comments, please! Now please keep in mind that I have reloaded my software twice now to fix the problem Here is where I think my issue lies and I have taken off pretty much all the software that did not come with the PC. Well, that should still record something, yeah?

As I stated above, in the past I would raise the maximun TV limit to 60 or 70 mb and save it and all would be well. Now when I do that and save my settings, when I go back in it's gone back to the 10 mb. So that's definitely not working.

Someone told me to remove as much as I could from my PC, which I did - software, pics, docs, whatever I could find, and it still hasn't worked. I am on my last legs here. It's very frustrating as everything else on my PC is working at it's best Very irritating. Note A hybrid TV tuner is a TV tuner that can be configured to receive either an analog signal or a digital signal. This issue occurs because the hybrid tuner object is not released if you exit Windows Media center without stopping the TV playback first.
