You should be able to open Computer Explorer for any of the computers with QuickTime installed, and then click on the software to Uninstall the software.
You can further target this action to a bunch of computers in the uninstall wizard. Open Program Files. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu. Remove the files QuickTime. Restart your computer. Next, we'll try to get a fresh copy of QuickTime into your PC by doing a repair install of itunes. Switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.
If the repair install goes through okay, restart the PC and try launching itunes again. Does it launch properly now? Thanks, Dunnpy. I have a list of all the machines that have the different versions of Quicktime and some users have versions that go back as far as version 5. My issue is getting the earlier versions of Quicktime uninstalled that don't have a uninstall guid. Install each flavour into a VM newly refreshed for each install, of course and note the uninstall string having tested that it works, of course!
