Schedules are accurate when published but keep in mind that due to unforeseen circumstances, changes may be made at the last minute. A schedule will be posted in the website when it is finalized.
There is plenty of seating under the pavilions but you are allowed to bring your own if you choose. There will be commercial vendors selling various imported Scottish and Irish items and clothing, along with craft vendors selling a large variety of merchandise from handmade clothing and jewelry to candles, brooms, etc. Remember there are two fields of activities and vendors, St. Andrew's and Strathbarren. There will be food vendors.
Typical "American" food BBQ, hamburgers, fries, funnel cakes, ice cream, etc is available along with Scottish food such as meat pies, Scotch eggs, fish and chips, etc. There is a pavement around the Games field leading back to Strathbarren Field and on the drive, all fairly level ground. There is a slight incline getting to the Games field. Rain or shine all events are held. Just bring an umbrella if rain is in the forecast.

If the caber fall in a 12 o'clock position it is considered to be the most ideal toss. The caber should be carried with the tapered end pointing downwards. The tosser carries the caber with interlocked hands and supporting it against their shoulders. Before the toss, competitors run with the caber for a short distance to gain momentum.
In competitions, each competitor normally gets three attempts to toss the caber.
