How do I "run" it. Do I run it on something specific, or in general? It didn't create any dmp file in minidump. As a final resort if nothing else works , I can revert back to since I still have that option in the recovery settings, but I don't want to do that unless it's the only way.

Thankfully, there are a couple of common steps you can follow that should help you restore your PC if this error appears, as this guide outlines below. The Windows operating system relies on hundreds of different system processes, thousands of system files, and billions of lines of code to give you a functional user interface.
If any updates are available for your PC, install them and restart your PC afterwards. You should also check manufacturer websites for the most recent driver releases, especially for devices like graphics cards , where updates are typically newer than drivers released through Windows Update.
You updated the PC, but your system files might still be corrupted in some way. For example, this might happen after a malware infection or following a botched update. If the DISM and SFC tools cannot repair your system files, you may need to consider resetting Windows 10 to give you a fresh and non-corrupted installation.
System drivers allow Windows to safely interface with, use, and control specific hardware components. If the driver is incompatible, corrupted, or out-of-date, BSODs can and usually will occur. I'm assuming it meant SATA driver. My asus p5n 32 3 sli has 2 driver cds, 1 for xp, and 1 for vista upgrade, i can slap the drivers on a flash drive if I know what one too look for exactly, but I dont have the patience to stare at a starting windows and pretty blue background screen for 30 minutes each, every install attempt.

I partitioned 70 gigs off the Raptor for win 7. Im not a partioning expert, and accordning to PartionMagic, its an extended primary partition, and then has a logical partition inside of that making it disk g right now. Ill try unallocation the partition for 7, and disabling the IDE port and give this installation another go. OK, good luck! The IRQL error message you mentioned earlier sounded familiar to me already - remembered it from past times.
It happened with XP a lot. In the Microsoft knowledge base there are still some articles on it, but they say to be related to XP and Server indeed only. They state it can have something to do with third party storage managment software conflicting your partition manager?
Or dedicate this or another machine to the RC testing of Windows 7. I have 2 xp harddrives, Im going to dual boot 7, Im a college computer sci major, so a stable, working pc is something I cant live without. Deactivated my old IDE harddrive, removed 2 gigs of ram, leaving only 2 in there. Still cant install windows 7. When it came to where to install, windows 7 still refuses to see my sata hdd.
