Driver amiable expressive personality

The amiable places a high premium on getting along and the expressive wants to be highly regarded by those around him. Analytical; Amiable; Expressive; Driver; The characteristics of his personality types share commonalities with the types identified by most of the popular typologies: Analyticals like a lot of data in order to make decisions — information is their comfort zone.

For this reason, decisions can take a long time, because Analyticals need to be sure. In an effort to understand the world of celebrity, we use four huge public figures to test the theory of the 4 personality types: driver, expressive, amiable, analytical.

It is costly to replace an employee who has been let go due to a personality conflict or behavioral problem. The costs can be measured in lost productivity, recruiting and hiring expenses, and costs associated with training a new employee. I recently spoke to a human resources administrator with a performance improvement company in Minneapolis about its use of personality tests during the interview process, particularly regarding hiring IT personnel.

There are a lot of quizzes to help people discover which personality type they are. I've taken the Myers-Briggs type indicator MBTI and while a lot of people use them to discover their own communication styles, for many people, it is too much to try to remember.

This all comes from an innate desire for people to understand their own behavior. Have you ever really hit it off with someone — as if you knew them all your life? We have it right over here. Ready to check out? Treating everyone the same way gives you a hit-or-miss success rate. Because not everyone processes information as you do.

They have different strengths and weaknesses as well as very different interpersonal skills. You need to be more creative with each person you talk to so they — and you — can feel comfortable with each other. Analytical types are constantly asking questions, almost to the point of getting too much information. Others see them as talented with brilliant ideas. However, they can suffer from analysis paralysis, over analyzing situations too much. They enjoy socializing and talking.

They are great story tellers and often over commit themselves by attempting to please people. They also are good at communicating vision, getting others exited about ideas and issues. However, they sometimes cannot be relied upon to get things done. The most calm, flat-type personality. Amiable types are laid back and are hard to excite. They seem to constantly be relaxed and desire a peaceful environment over anything else. They will go out of their way not to upset people.

In fact, their indifference can often upset the people they are trying to appease. They will often wait until the last minute to make decisions and will often go with what everyone else is doing. They are deeply emotional individuals that want harmony.
